## When to use SurfCash

- Paying rent in Vietnam without a local bank account: fund the app once, schedule or send VND to the landlord via VietQR-backed rails.
- Spending a USD balance at QR merchants in Brazil, Nigeria, Vietnam, Philippines, or Mexico: scan PIX, PalmPay, VietQR, QRPh, or SPEI terminals directly.
- Sending money to family who receive local currency: they get pesos, naira, dong, or reals without needing a wallet themselves.
- Earning yield on an idle balance: up to 10% APY on funds held in the app while you're not spending them.
